Calling all festival-lovers and community enthusiasts! Fireside is officially on the hunt for this year's volunteers to take part in Fireside Festival’s 10th anniversary, Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, 2025! 🔥

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Fireside Volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in creating the ultimate experience for attendees. Tasks include: 

  • Event Operations: Assist in managing crowd flow, provide information to attendees, and keep the vibes high with upbeat, supportive energy.

  • Attendee Verification: Check tickets and IDs, verifying entrants to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other volunteers and staff to maintain an organized, upbeat atmosphere.

Volunteer Requirements:

Think you've got the spark to fuel this year’s event? Here’s the magic mix for a standout volunteer:

  • Availability for Two Shifts: Must be able to commit to two shifts during the festival weekend.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Engage positively with attendees, provide clear information, and respond to questions promptly.

  • Customer Service Skills: Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanour, with an eagerness to help and enhance attendees' festival experience.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen observation skills to accurately verify IDs and tickets, ensuring safety and security.

  • Team Player Mentality: Ability to work collaboratively with fellow volunteers and staff.

  • Transportation: Must have reliable transport to and from the venue for assigned shifts.

  • Friendly Face, Professional Attitude: Volunteers should bring a positive, reliable attitude, keeping interactions upbeat and engaging throughout.
